Privacy Policy

Jobrman (“Jobrman”, “we”) operates jobrman.ai and api.jobrman.ai. For anything in this policy, write to support@jobrman.ai.

• Account data: your name, email address and a hashed password, or the profile your sign-in provider (Google) shares with us.
• What you put in the workspace: job postings you save, your resumes and the versions tailored from them, cover letters, contacts and interview notes, application statuses and ratings.
• Billing data: your plan, subscription status and billing period, the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, and your invoice history. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's pages and never reach our servers.
• Usage data: which AI features you used and how many tokens they consumed (to enforce plan allowances and track costs), request logs and error reports, and the cookies that keep you signed in.

• To run the product: store and show your jobs, resumes, letters, contacts and pipeline.
• To provide the AI features you ask for: scoring a resume against a job, tailoring a resume, writing a cover letter, suggesting improvements to resume bullets. The text of the resume and the job posting involved is sent to the AI providers listed below for that purpose only.
• To bill paid plans, enforce allowances and detect abuse.
• To send transactional email: verification, password reset, receipts and payment problems.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We do not use your resumes, job postings or letters to train models, and we do not sell or rent personal data.

These providers process data on our instructions, under their own terms:

• Stripe (payments and subscriptions): your email, name, plan and payment details. Stripe is the controller of the card data you enter on its pages.
• AI providers: Google (Gemini), OpenAI and TypeSafe receive the resume text and job description involved in a request, without your account identity, to produce the result you asked for.
• Infrastructure: Vercel (web app), Railway (API), Supabase (database) and Resend (email) host and deliver the service.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (an access token and a refresh token) and a preference cookie for the color theme. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your workspace data is kept while your account exists. Cancelling a paid plan removes nothing: you keep your data on the free plan. When you ask us to delete your account we delete your workspace data; invoices and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Backups expire on a rolling schedule.

• You can edit or delete anything in your workspace at any time.
• You can export your resumes as PDF from the app.
• You can ask for a copy of your personal data, a correction, or deletion of your account by writing to support@jobrman.ai. We answer within 30 days.
• If you are in the EU, UK or another jurisdiction with data protection law, you have the rights that law gives you, including to complain to your supervisory authority.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting providers, passwords are hashed, and access to production systems is limited to the people who operate the service. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will tell you.

Jobrman is for people looking for work and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

When this policy changes we update the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you by email or in the app. The Terms of Service describe the agreement under which the service is provided.
